Recently, the National Conference of the Smile Train Project was held in Chengjiang County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Executive vice president of China Charity Federation Wang Shufeng attended the conference and delivered an important speech. He pointed out that Smile Train Project Conference is an extremely necessary meeting, which is the actual implementation of the principle of the 19th CPC National Congress and the promotion of public welfare undertakings at the close of the 19th CPC National Congress. At the conference, all local charities unify their understanding and seize the opportunity to promote development of charity cause. At the conference, it is determined that the project the cleft lip and palate repair project will increase publicity and promote the coverage of surgery to enable more patients to understand the project and benefit from the project through efforts of all charity organizations.

Senior executive vice president of the Smile Train Foundation of the United States, Xue Yu and President of Yunnan Provincial Charity Federation Jiangba Caiji delivered speech at the conference. A total of 130 persons attending the conference, including general director of the Finance Department of China Charity Federation Gao Shouhua, deputy director of Project Department of China Charity Federation, deputy director of the Communication Department of China Charity Federation Sun Yanmei, related principals of local charity federations and staff of the Project Department of China Charity Federation.
