On May 15, 2020, the Social Organization Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued a circular on the targeted poverty alleviation contributed by four social organizations including China Charity Federation.

It is said in the circular that social organizations are an important force in China’s socialist modernization drive, an important link between social assistance resources including enterprises and people with great sense of social responsibility and the poor people in rural areas, an important carrier to mobilize and organize social force to participate in poverty alleviation as well as a crucial part of great poverty alleviation scale consisting of special poverty alleviation, industry poverty alleviation and social poverty alleviation. The four social organizations, including China Charity Federation, actively respond to the call of the Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party, implement the deployment of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, give full play to their own advantages and mobilize forces and integrated resources by combing with the reality of the poor rural areas, focusing on the demands and taking multiple measures simultaneously to make targeted poverty alleviation in Lianhua County and Suichuan County, Jiangxi Province, achieving good results.
