On February 2, 2021,  Wang Aiwen, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, led the research team of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to the China Charity Federation to investigate the construction of charity organizations and the development of charity work, listen to opinions and suggestions and provide guidance and suggestions on how a charitable organization plays its role in the third distribution and the promotion of high-quality development in charities.

  Gong Puguang, President of China Charity Federation, warmly welcomed the visit of the research team of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and introduced each functional department to the research team one by one. In his speech at the symposium, Gong Puguang pointed out that in the past year, China Charity Federation has fully and thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 4^th and 5^th Plenary Sessions of the 19^th Central Committee of the Party and the spirit of a series of important instructions on charity work by General Secretary Xi Jinping in order to deepen reforms. As a driving force, with the responsibility of protecting and improving people’s livelihood, being united, truth-seeking and pragmatic, CCF constantly promotes the steady development of various undertakings, and has made due contributions of a charitable organization in participating in poverty alleviation and fighting against COVID-19 epidemic. Gong Puguang said that the arrival of Vice Minister Wang Aiwen and the research team is a great support and assistance to the work of CCF, and is of great guiding significance for the current and future work of CCF. In the new year, under the leadership of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, CCF will give full play to its own advantages, continue to expand service areas and make new and greater contributions to the healthy development of charities.

  Wang Aiwen spoke highly of the outstanding achievements of CCF since its establishment, especially in helping win high-quality poverty alleviation battles in the deeply impoverished areas and fully engaged in major activities such as epidemic prevention and control. The spirit of responsibility and pivotal role embodied are fully affirmed. He hoped that CCF will continue to implement the Charity Law in its future work, closely focus on the central work of the third distribution, give full play to the role of pivotal charitable organizations and strive to do a good job in the great article of China Charity.
